Do not confuse it with the essential oils of Sweet Basil with linalool, Ocimum basilicum CT linalol (Basilicum grand vert) and Holy Basil, Ocimum sanctum (Tulsi).

Precautions for use

Contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and in children under 12 years of age.
No internal use without the advice of a practitioner.
Do not use undiluted on the skin, dilute to about 20% with a mild vegetable oil. The elbow test is recommended before any application to the skin.
Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid contact with the eyes.
